The Plantation is a gem hidden off rt 27 and we are so glad we found it. We love that it is quiet with serine grounds, yet it is full of fun activities, parties and dances. We have made so many great friendships golfing on the two golf courses, playing darts, bocce and special interest groups. All this bundled inside a safe and affordable community!

I bought in the Plantation 6 years ago after renting here for 1 mo. each year when I left our seasonal rental in Naples and realized the Plantation has nicer people, more activities to offer, more reasonable taxes and HOA Fees. Better weather pattern. You don’t have to dress as Queen for a day in our restaurant and 95% of the people are nice to each other. The activity centers and gym show they care about people.

I enjoy living in the Plantation. the massive number of clubs and organizations to join. Several years earlier the residents got together and agreed to purchase both 18-hole golf courses. Now the total Plantation development in south Leesburg on Highway 27 is owned and controlled by the Plantation's residents. In December of last year, there was an election on all new officers and then hired help. The new direction has been great.

We have owned a home at The Plantation since 1996. Our activity centers are well maintained and well staffed. Our activities are second to none, from our annual Olympics to golf to dances or workout centers and pools and spas. We have a robust softball program and quite a few pickleball leagues and a very active tennis association! Our artists and Woodworkers are amazing. Our grounds are well maintained and our neighbors are wonderful people. Our volunteer Board of Directors are hard working and set on keeping our community in top shape and safe. We cannot imagine living anywhere else!

For 35 vibrant years, The Plantation at Leesburg has stood as a beacon of community and excellence. Originally nurtured by its builders, the property transitioned in 2008 to the capable hands of a newly elected Board of Directors (BOD). This marked a new era where the BOD took the reins, steering the community with fresh vision and vigor.

Throughout these dynamic decades, the Management Team has been a constant presence, evolving from welcoming new homeowners to executing the innovative policies and procedures set forth by the BOD. Faces may have changed, but the unwavering commitment to excellence has not.
