Chanticleer Village is a small but active and friendly neighborhood. The first homeowners moved into the neighborhood in November of 2004. All homes were occupied by February of 2006. Most of the homes border the 5th or 6th holes of Cranes Roost and golf has played an important role in bringing neighbors together, starting with ChanticRiver league golf, Mavericks golf, and the very popular Nine ‘n Dine. Other activities over the years have included block parties, Super Bowl parties, holiday dinners, book club, and mah-jongg.
