Life at Laurel Valley

91+ Homes | Opened in…

Laurel Valley Village covers a portion of Laurel Valley Road, the Woodleaf Drive cul-de-sac street, and Quail Croft Place, a double cul-de-sac street. The village entrance is located approximately two and a half miles from the main entrance of The Plantation at Leesburg  that is located on US-27, and just over a half mile from the west gate that leads to SR-33. The ninety-one homes in Laurel Valley Village are of concrete block and stucco construction. Laurel Valley does not collect village-specific HOA fees and does not provide additional services or amenities beyond those provided to the general community.

The Laurel Valley Village Association is a volunteer organization within the village that performs many neighbor-friendly functions to bring residents together and enhance the Laurel Valley experience. A nominal membership fee is collected annually, and membership  is voluntary. The Association has an elected Board of Directors and several committees that provide volunteer opportunities for village residents. The Association’s volunteer activities include the following:

  • Decorating the village entrance on holidays and special occasions.
  • Placing a U.S. flag at the corner of all resident driveways on patriotic holidays and special occasions.
  • Preparing and emailing the monthly “Laurel Valley Voice” newsletter to all Laurel Valley residents.
  • Sending greetings and condolences to residents who are ill, in the hospital, or who have suffered a loss.
  • Organizing fun events for residents, such as driveway parties, games, potlucks, holiday parties and other neighborhood gatherings.
  • Distributing the “Plantation Times” community HOA newsletter to all Laurel Valley Village homes.
  • Holding short business meetings several times a year to keep village residents informed about topics that are important to them and to provide them with a chance to meet and greet their Laurel Valley Village neighbors.
  • Hosting community-wide events that involve other villages within The Plantation at Leesburg community.
  • Supporting charitable causes and community service organizations.
