The Plantation Men’s Golf Association is an 18-hole men’s golf group located at The Plantation at Leesburg Golf Club. All residents and non-residents of The Plantation at Leesburg, and members and non-members of PALGC are welcome to join. We play according to USGA rules (with local exceptions) and require a handicap from the Florida GHIN system. We ask for $15 annual dues paid in January or upon joining. Those joining in November or December have their dues rolled over into the following year. Signing up is done in the pro shop.

Tuesday Play Day

The PMGA plays Otter Creek and Cranes Roost on a rotating basis. All communication is through the Golf Genius online program via emails for signing up to play, posting pairings, and posting results.

Games on Cranes Roost have an 8:30 AM shotgun start. Games on Otter Creek have an 8:00 AM shotgun start. We meet behind the Pro Shop 30 minutes before play. We pay to play in the pro shop. The cost for the game is $3 each week, with an option to pay $2 for entry in Closest to the Pin on 4 par 3s. Winners are paid in credit toward Pro Shop merchandise. An option to enter either or both gross and net skins games is $1 each, with these winners paid in cash.

A variety of individual and 4-man games are played. These are posted in the Plantation Times each month.

Super Tuesday

Super Tuesday is held on the 2nd or 3rd Tuesday in March. It is an individual low net event with flights based on tees played and handicap index, with 5-8 players in each flight. All annual dues collected are used for food, beverages, and prize money for this event. All prizes are paid in cash. Everyone is automatically entered in the game, closest to the pin, and gross and net skins.
