Life at Mulberry Grove

73+ Homes | Opened in…

Mulberry Grove Village is a wonderful, friendly, active village located in the northwest section of the Plantation at Leesburg. The homes in Mulberry Grove were among the last built in 2005 – 2006 and are block and stucco construction. Our village’s location is ideal for its proximity to the West Gate, the mailboxes, the Hermitage Hall Activity Center, the pool, pickle ball courts, and tennis courts, all within a mile of our village. With sidewalks on both sides of Mulberry Grove Loop and Forest Oak Court, it is a very walkable neighborhood for those who want to walk their pets or get some exercise. If you desire a more invigorating walk, you may want to hit the walking trail behind Mulberry Grove. It can be accessed from the mailbox area, Laurel Valley, or Mt. Hope Loop. Several of the homes in Mulberry Grove overlook the walking trail and pond, and those residents can enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the pond.

Mulberry Grove residents love socializing and having a good time, especially if music is involved! Residents gather informally for house parties, karaoke at Steve’s Bar and Grill, and dances at the Manor. Village events have included a Memorial Day cookout at the pavilion with live music, Taco Tuesday, an Ice Cream Social, Lucky Thirteen, Mexican Train, a pre-Easter potluck, and a holiday party. The Hermitage Hall Activity Center is home to these regularly scheduled games and activities: Darts, Mahjongg, Mexican Train, Ladies Bunco, Yoga, Water Aerobics, and the PAWS game day. The Mulberry Grove ladies’ group enjoys a monthly luncheon at different venues in our area. The lunches are well attended, and the ladies get a chance to get caught up on what’s happening in each other’s lives and the village. The men meet every Friday at HP Grill for their social time.

Villagers can stay abreast of what’s happening in The Plantation and in Mulberry Grove Village by attending our monthly village meetings at Hermitage Hall and by reading the monthly newsletter, The Mulberry Groove. Our village officers, who are elected annually, attend HOA Board meetings and serve as our liaison to the HOA Board. Of course, all residents are encouraged to attend the monthly HOA meetings to get first-hand information.
