Approval Process: Before you can occupy an existing home at the Plantation at Leesburg, your application must be approved by the HOA Board of Directors. To ensure timely approval, submit your request immediately upon executing your contract.

Submission Instructions: Submit the completed application and required documents to the Plantation Administration Office during normal business hours (Monday through Friday), or send them via fax to (352) 326-9414 or email to PALNews@Plantationhoa.org.

Required Documents:

• Completed original Application for Rental/Lessee Approval Form.
• Copy of the entire signed lease contract.
• Copies of current driver’s license or state-issued identification.
• Completed “Federal Fair Housing Act Survey” form.

Schedule of Fees & Conditions:

• Application Fee: $150

Lease fees must be submitted by the property owner or agent along with the lease and required paperwork for approval. No approval will be issued without the proper submission of the fee.

Submission Timeline: All leases must be submitted at least one week in advance of the effective date to allow proper time for approval.

Lease Requirements: All leases must state that the home is located in a deed-restricted community and that all residents must abide by the Governing Documents, Covenants, By-laws, and Policies & Procedures of the Plantation at Leesburg HOA, Inc.

Community Access: To gain access to the community via the access gates, a Personal Vehicle Bar Code Registration Form is required. After approval to move in, fill out the aforementioned form and bring it to the Plantation Administration Office. Please note there is a minimal fee for each barcode.

Important Note: Short-term rentals (less than 30 days) and vacation booking websites are not allowed inside the Plantation at Leesburg. For more information, reference Covenant 8.1 & Covenant 8.2.
